Covid-19 Update - Prime Minister Announcement

Due to the announcement on Tuesday 22nd September 2020 from the Prime Minister on Covid-19, the Club is awaiting any update regarding tennis from the LTA, but we are advised that the new restrictions won't have any further effect on what we are currently offering and have in place.
As of the 14th September, the LTA made the following changes to its advice for tennis venues:
For informal social play, the group size is limited to a maximum of six people by law.
For organised tennis activity with larger groups, including coached sessions, club nights and competitions is an exception to the limit of six as permitted by the Government. Therefore our current planned programme can continue, as our venue and coach complies with the Government and LTA COVID-19 secure guidelines.
It is important to stress to members that 'informal' social play is limited to 6 and all other organised activity must have the guidelines in place, as already covered for the Men's and Ladies sessions on our Club Calendar.
The full LTA guidance for clubs can be found here: and will be updated with any further restrictions if necessary.

Welcome to Haddenham Tennis Club

Haddenham Tennis Club was formed in 1986 to provide the village with decent tennis courts for families after some brilliant fund raising activity and now has three courts complete with floodlights.

The club now provides tennis coaching at all the local Haddenham Schools and has approximately 100 adult members and 80 junior members. Priority for club membership is given to all residents of the village and families whose children attend school at Haddenham. There is a strong bias toward Juniors and full coaching and development programmes have been implemented.

The club has a strong senior playing membership that has increased greatly in recent years. The club now runs many senior and junior teams. (2 Men's, 3 Ladies, 2 Mixed and up to 10 Junior sides). The men’s and ladies senior sides play in Division 1 in the local leagues.

The club has the use of the Haddenham Playing Fields Pavilion that has a fitted kitchen, toilets and showers and use of the Haddenham Sports and Social Club that has excellent facilities, which includes a well-run bar.

The future aims of the club are to produce a steady stream of talented tennis players for the club and county, along with a solid base of good club players. The club hopes to keep a balance of good standards of play and social activity. The club strives to keep and develop all facilities to the highest standards.
